The Program
Our 12-week program is designed to flatten your learning curve when it comes to industry knowledge + entrepreneurship, helping you quickly and more easily reach goals that make a big impact on your business, while building a long-lasting community in the industry.
We are big advocates of accelerating success while prioritizing ourselves and our mental & physical health.
- Weekly 90-minute workshops are scheduled throughout the program on foundational topics taught by industry innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs that will help you make progress on your business goals and set up best practices from the beginning. You can also expect additional programming, in the form of casual mixers with your peers and fireside chats with badass entrepreneurs in the industry!
- You will be matched with a one-on-one mentor who has experience in the domain where you’d like the most help and is a great personality fit to keep you supported. You’ll also have access to an on-demand roster of advisors to help with specific topics, with whom you can book 30-minute consulting calls.
- Connections within a container of like-minded folks will help participants trade intel and help each other through roadblocks. You can expect to make connections with a small group of peers to discuss current challenges and possible paths to success. You’re never alone as you lean on and learn from fellow entrepreneurs to grow your businesses together.

Who is wmnsWORK designed for?
It can be lonely being an entrepreneur. wmnsWORK provides a space that fosters community, trust, and openness for folks who want to bring their whole selves – not just their businesses – to the table.
The program is focused on and will be most beneficial to tourism suppliers, operators and hoteliers in their first year of business, but is open to anyone who feels they need support and would gain value from its curriculum and community. We accept registered businesses only.
What you can expect to gain from your participation
This 12-week container is a tailored business accelerator program that will help your growth as an entrepreneur, and for those who are unfamiliar with the travel and tourism industry, get you acquainted with key foundational knowledge.
Example topics include: Business Model Canvas 101, Mindset as an Entrepreneur, Your Pitch Deck, Financials 101, Building Your Tech Stack, How to Grow Your Team, Digital Marketing, Social Media 101, and more. The program will provide many opportunities to discuss progress with the group, and seek any additional resources that will help you succeed.

Investment for 12 weeks + 12 months in our Alumni Community
The investment for the full 12 weeks PLUS 12-month access to our Alumni Community following the end of your program, is $4,000 USD and includes a few partner perks. Scholarships covering 85% of the cost may be available for folks identifying as racialized, disabled, LGBTQIA2S+.

Weekly Workshops
Each workshop facilitator has been briefed on your businesses. They have in-depth direct experience in the domain they are teaching, whether for their own businesses or in senior leadership positions.
Homework
Experts will be assigning homework after their workshops, where applicable, to help you apply concepts. This is great for accountability, for those who need it!
Mentorship
You’ll meet regularly (2 hrs/mo.) with a 1:1 mentor who will be matched with you based on business + personality fit. Each are trained on mentorship principles by Alessandra Alonso of Women in Travel.
Advisor Roster
Advisors from across the industry have made themselves available to participants for 30-minute pick-their-brain chats, based on their areas of expertise.
Peer Support Circles
These are a time to gather for some group brainstorming, encouragement, insights, feedback and to work through roadblocks together.
Co-Working Sprints
These sprints are an hour of time blocked off for some focused work on your business and reporting back to the group for accountability – plus it’s more fun when we’re working ‘together’!
Alumni Community
Your investment includes 12 MONTHS of staying part of the wmnsWORK Alumni Community at the conclusion of the cohort for continued accountability and connection with your cohort-mates and past participants! As of 2024, we have 30 past alumni in this community. Meet them here!
